At Rossini Music Studio, performance is an important part of musical growth. Playing for others helps students build confidence, develop focus, and experience the joy of sharing music.

To provide meaningful and well-organized performance opportunities throughout the year, Rossini Music Studio partners with the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA).

 

🎵 Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA)

Rossini Music Studio is proud to be affiliated with the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA), a statewide professional organization dedicated to high-quality music education.

Through TMTA, students have access to a wide variety of optional performance and enrichment events that are thoughtfully structured, age-appropriate, and professionally adjudicated when applicable.

Participation in TMTA events allows students to:

  • Perform in a supportive and educational setting

  • Set musical goals and work toward clear deadlines

  • Receive encouragement and recognition for their progress

  • Experience a broader musical community beyond weekly lessons​​

Throughout the year, eligible students may be invited to participate in TMTA events such as:

🎼 Studio & Association Recitals

  • Opportunities to perform prepared repertoire for family and friends

  • Focus on performance etiquette, confidence, and stage presence

  • Designed to be encouraging and positive experiences for all levels

🎵 Sonatina Festivals

  • Students prepare a sonatina or multi-movement work

  • Emphasis on musical structure, style, and consistency

  • Ideal for developing intermediate and advancing students

🎶 Original Composition Festivals

  • Students compose and perform their own original music

  • Encourages creativity, imagination, and musical independence

  • Open to a wide range of ages and experience levels

​

🎭 Broadway & Specialty Festivals

  • Students perform selections from Broadway, film, or themed repertoire

  • Allows students to explore different musical styles

  • Encourages expressive performance and interpretation

Additional TMTA events may be offered depending on student level and availability.​​​

Lessons at Rossini Music Studio include:

  • Performance preparation strategies
